I will forever love and cherish this place! It hasn't changed in 40 years and never should! Love to Uncle Dale and the crew! They are the best and the drinks are pretty good too!

As a repeat guest of KBH a free drink at the Tiki Bar and Grill is part of the Lei Aloha program. However a one night anniversary stay the past few years means not having a whole lot of time to just hang out and relax on property. So when I found myself with a week recently, I finally got to slow down and enjoy the ambiance. With my complimentary lava flow to go with my mahi sandwich from the grill, I finally got to experience what it is like to have lunch poolside. Although it is not like other resorts where they take your order and bring it to you at your lounge chair (you need to order at the bar and pickup at the grill), the prices are also more reasonable.

The Tiki Bar serves as the Kaanapali Beach Hotel's sole watering hole, open for lunch and dinner. They're located between the hotel's pool and Tiki Terrace Restaurant. Next to it is the Tiki Grill, which serves takeout food orders for the pool area and beyond, with tiki-named items galore.
ATMOSPHERE:
It's an outdoor bar with a thatched roof that seats about eight people, along with a few hightops to the side. Next to it is a stage with a large outdoor seating area that's used for nightly and weekend entertainment. You can't see the ocean but sunset skies are plentiful. It seemed like everyone staying at the hotel were here along with many locals.
MENU:
Bar-style apps, salads, burgers, hot dog, sandwiches.
FOOD:
Potstickers - $9.00
These were yummy. The six pieces were deep-fried rather than steamed and seared, and had great flavor. It was a traditional pork mixture stuffing and came with a shoyu-ponzu sauce for dipping.
Spring Rolls - $9.00
Another delish app but pricey for the portion. The two rolls were super light and fluffy even if they were deep-fried. The stuffing included shrimp which brought the flavor level up a lot. A sweet chili sauce came for dipping but I preferred them plain.
SERVICE:
Our server was friendly and down to earth. Food delivery took about 10 minutes.
OVERALL:
The flavorful food along with live entertainment and being outdoors were winners in my book! -

This is a great bar. The atmosphere is friendly as are the people that pass through. The bartenders are awesome. Sue, Dale and Chantel(sp?) are super friendly and they make the best Pina Coladas in my opinion.
The food is fine, your basic bar and pool food. You come here for the drinks, the people, the conversation and the aloha. If you are in Ka'anapali you want to come here -

I have been coming here off and on for 13 years. It's still my favorite bar (Thanks to Sue and Dale)!
This bar is located at the Kaanapali Hotel. It has a very nice pool and is walking distance from the beach.
My favorite is the tropical itch which comes with a back scratcher. They also have a daily drink of the day which is a discounted drink from the menu.
